night/shift is an online arts residency program, geared specifically towards artists who are working (formally or informally) in radical or anti-oppressive fields, as well as professional artists who must work regular day jobs in order to survive.


welcome to night/shift’s inaugural online exhibition. over the past several months our 2025 residents have been creating work and (re)engaging with their creative practices, both collaboratively and apart, and we’re equal parts proud and excited to share the outcomes of all that effort.

night/shift itself is still a bit of an experiment, and our first ever cohort has gotten us started on the right foot. the world is fucked, and everyone is working too damn hard already, but together we made some space to create things and do more than just survive, at least for a little while.
